“Pretty much. Besides, it was a good excuse to stay off the Gene for a bit. Now that I’m an Admiral, I don’t have much to do there. Topper runs the ship like a Swiss watch.”

“That’s about how things have been running around here. The Squirrels appear to have decided to act reasonable. We haven’t had to explain it to any of them for at least a month.”

“That sounds better than when the Gene was pulling this duty. You don’t think they’re just off somewhere plotting a better attack?”
